Informatica Commit Interval?

Commit interval in Informatica is specified in the session properties of Informatica sessions and is defined as the number of rows after which the Integration service will commit the data into the target table. The commit interval type is the type of rows that you want to use as a basis for the commit point. Below are the different types of Commit
  1. In Target based commit the Integration service commits data based on the number of rows and constraints defined in the target table.
  2. In Source based commit, Integration service will commit data based on the number of source rows.
  3. In User Defined Commit data is committed based on the transactions defined in the mapping.
