    1. Hello There,

I love all the posts, I really enjoyed.
I would like more information about this, because it is very nice., Thanks for sharing.
A plain-text description of the exact rule would have helped; this way I can only guess that you mean the following:
If the input is a number, then forward the number in port A; port B will be set to NULL.
If the input is a number followed by only one alphabet character, then forward the number in port A and set port B to the alphabet character.
In all other cases set port A to NULL and port B to the input value. This symbiotic transfer of information and ease of communication on projects helps reduce misunderstandings and ensure project success.
If my understanding is correct, I would proceed like this:
I read multiple articles and watched many videos about how to use this tool - and was still confused! Your instructions were easy to understand and made the process simple.

      Thank you,
      Sandy

    2. Hello There,

Amaze! I have been looking bing for hours because of this and i also in the end think it is in this article! Maybe I recommend you something helps me all the time?
My current (and by now last) idea is that somehow during the installation process the two JDKs (9.5.1 uses a 1.6 JDK, 10.1.1 uses a 1.8 version) got mixed up in the PATH or some other environment variable.
From this Informatica IDQ training USA I hope you understand why I suggest the following: keep the 9.5.1 installation intact, install 10.1.1 on a fresh Windows machine, and have both running in parallel until you're ready to throw away 9.5.1 completely.

By the way do you have any YouTube videos, would love to watch it. I would like to connect you on LinkedIn, great to have experts like you in my connection (In case, if you don’t have any issues).
Please keep providing such valuable information.

      Best Regards,
      Kevin

  4. Hi There,

Love it absolutely! So crystalline. No mumbo jumbo. No non-sense. Straight and simple. You guys need a standing ovation for your good work.

It may be that your Windows environment contains some reference to a previously installed Java version (be it the runtime, JRE, or a full-fledged Java Development Kit, JDK). If so, remove these references. This affects the following environment variables:

    - PATH (look out for any directory paths containing a directory name "jre"),
    - JAVA_HOME (this must not be set when the installation starts),
    - CLASSPATH (this must not be set when the installation starts).

Appreciate your effort for making such useful blogs and helping the community.

    Best Regards,
    Irene Hynes

  5. Hello There,

You make learning and reading addictive. All eyes fixed on you. Thank you being such a good and trust worthy guide.

We are working on integration of SFDC (SalesForce CRM) with Exact Target(ET) (SalesForce Marketing Clound) through Informatica PowerCenter 9.5.1.
    But facing below issues:
    1) While importing SalesForce object into PowerCenter : Getting an error "timed out"
    2) How to connect to Exact target from power Center using API (we tested this from Java by passing proxy to webservie but not sure how to pass proxy to webservice in power Center)

Awesome! Thanks for putting this all in one place. Very useful!

    Many Thanks,
    Preethi

  6. Aloha,

Nice to be visiting your blog again, it has been months for me. Well this article that i’ve been waited for so long.

Given this, I would be surprised to see anything on the test that was not covered in the modules, as it relates to the Cloud tool and topics covered about SalesForce. I would presume questions Informatica Data quality training USA that test general ETL transformation knowledge based on past PowerCentre tool experience.
But great job man, do keep posted with the new updates.

    Kind Regards,
